RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 26 August 2026
At Yound bursh, we want you to shop with confidence. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and our procedures for returns, exchanges, refunds, faulty products and change-of-mind purchases.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Under the ACL, goods supplied to consumers must, where applicable:
-
be of acceptable quality;
-
be fit for their normal purpose;
-
be fit for any particular purpose made known to us before purchase;
-
match their description;
-
match any sample or demonstration model;
-
meet any express warranties or representations made about them; and
-
be free from undisclosed defects that would make them unacceptable.
Your rights under the ACL apply regardless of any additional warranty or voluntary return policy offered by Yound bursh.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
In addition to your statutory rights, Yound bursh offers a 30-day change-of-mind return period.
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order where:
-
the product is unused, unworn and unwashed;
-
the product is in its original condition;
-
all original tags, labels and accessories remain attached;
-
the product is returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible; and
-
you can provide proof of purchase.
Change-of-mind returns are a voluntary benefit provided by Yound bursh and are separate from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are generally responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind returns.
Original delivery charges are generally not refundable for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise required by law.
3. Products That Cannot Be Returned for Change of Mind
For hygiene, safety and product integrity reasons, certain products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns once opened, worn or used.
These may include:
-
underwear;
-
socks;
-
personal care or grooming products;
-
products with hygiene seals that have been removed;
-
personalised or customised products; and
-
other products clearly identified as non-returnable before purchase.
These exclusions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.
They do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise fails to comply with a consumer guarantee.
4. Sale and Clearance Items
Sale, discounted and clearance products remain covered by the Australian Consumer Law.
A discounted product is not excluded from your statutory rights merely because it was purchased on sale.
However, sale or clearance products may be excluded from our voluntary change-of-mind policy where this is clearly stated before purchase.
If a product was discounted because of a specific defect that was clearly disclosed to you before purchase, you may not be entitled to a remedy for that particular disclosed defect. Your rights regarding other undisclosed problems remain unaffected.
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please contact us if your product:
-
arrives damaged;
-
is faulty or defective;
-
is unsafe;
-
is significantly different from its description or images;
-
is materially different from the product ordered;
-
does not perform as reasonably expected;
-
is not fit for its normal purpose;
-
is not fit for a specific purpose that you made known to us before purchase; or
-
otherwise fails to comply with an Australian Consumer Law guarantee.
Please contact:
Email: costumer@Youndbursh.store
When contacting us, please provide, where available:
-
your full name;
-
order number;
-
details of the problem;
-
photographs or videos showing the issue; and
-
proof of purchase.
We may reasonably assess the product before determining the appropriate remedy.
6. Major Problems
A product may have a major problem where, for example:
-
a reasonable consumer would not have purchased it if they had known about the problem;
-
the product is unsafe;
-
the product is substantially different from its description, sample or demonstration model;
-
the product is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time;
-
the product is unfit for a particular purpose that you made known to us and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time; or
-
one serious problem, or multiple smaller problems considered together, amounts to a major failure.
Where there is a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to choose between:
-
a refund; or
-
a replacement of the same type and similar value, where reasonably available.
You may also choose to keep the product and seek compensation for any reduction in its value caused by the problem.
Nothing in this policy removes any additional right to compensation that may exist under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Minor Problems
Where a product has a problem that is not major, Yound bursh may choose to provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
This may include:
-
repairing the product;
-
replacing the product; or
-
providing a refund.
Where a repair is appropriate, it will be provided within a reasonable time.
If we cannot or do not remedy the problem within a reasonable time, you may have further rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the right to obtain a refund or replacement in applicable circumstances.
8. Incorrect Size or Fit
If you have ordered the correct product but would prefer another size because of fit or personal preference, this will generally be treated as a change-of-mind return and will be subject to the conditions in Section 2.
If the product received is a different size from the size you ordered, please contact us. This will be treated as an incorrect product rather than a change-of-mind return.
9. Proof of Purchase
We may ask you to provide reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Yound bursh.
Acceptable proof may include:
-
an order confirmation;
-
an electronic receipt;
-
your order number;
-
a payment transaction record;
-
a bank or credit card statement; or
-
other reasonable evidence of purchase.
An original paper receipt is not necessarily required where other reasonable proof of purchase is available.
10. Returning Faulty Products
Customers are generally responsible for returning products that can reasonably be posted or easily returned.
If we confirm that a returned product has a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, we will reimburse reasonable return costs where required by law.
Please keep evidence of your reasonable postage or transport expenses.
For products that cannot reasonably be returned because of their size, nature or the nature of the fault, we will arrange collection at our expense where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please contact us before returning a faulty product so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.
11. Return Authorisation
Before sending a change-of-mind or faulty-product return, please contact:
Include your order number and the reason for your return.
We will provide return instructions where required.
Sending a product to an unauthorised or incorrect address may delay processing of your return.
12. Return Condition
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, products must meet the conditions set out in this policy.
Products showing signs of:
-
wear;
-
washing;
-
alterations;
-
damage caused after delivery;
-
misuse; or
-
missing tags or accessories
may be refused for a voluntary change-of-mind return.
These conditions do not override your statutory rights where the product itself fails to comply with the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Refunds
Once a return has been assessed and approved, the applicable refund will be processed promptly.
Where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, the refund will generally be provided using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless you agree to another method.
Processing times after a refund has been issued may depend on your bank, card provider or payment provider.
Where the Australian Consumer Law requires a full refund, we will not require you to accept store credit, a voucher or an exchange instead of that refund.
14. Exchanges
Where available, we may offer exchanges for products returned under our voluntary change-of-mind policy.
Availability of replacement sizes, colours or products cannot be guaranteed.
Where you are legally entitled to choose a replacement because of a major failure, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law will apply regardless of our voluntary exchange policy.
15. Return Shipping for Change-of-Mind Returns
Unless otherwise stated:
-
customers are responsible for return shipping costs for voluntary change-of-mind returns;
-
we recommend using a trackable shipping method; and
-
Yound bursh is not responsible for voluntary return parcels lost in transit before they are received by us, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
This section does not apply where Australian Consumer Law requires Yound bursh to bear or reimburse return costs.
16. Products Damaged Through Misuse
The Australian Consumer Law does not generally require a business to provide a remedy where the problem was caused by:
-
misuse;
-
abnormal use;
-
accidental damage caused by the customer;
-
failure to follow reasonable care or usage instructions; or
-
modifications made after purchase.
This does not affect rights relating to defects or problems that were not caused by the customer.
17. Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may also include a manufacturer's warranty.
Any manufacturer's or additional voluntary warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where you purchased the product directly from Yound bursh, we will not require you to deal exclusively with the manufacturer where Yound bursh has obligations to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel or change an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at:
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
However, we cannot guarantee that an order can be cancelled or modified once processing or fulfilment has begun.
This does not affect any statutory cancellation, refund or consumer guarantee rights that may apply.
19. Consumer Guarantees Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify:
-
the consumer guarantees;
-
statutory warranties;
-
rights to repair;
-
rights to replacement;
-
rights to refunds;
-
rights to compensation; or
-
any other remedy
available to you under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable Australian legislation where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory requirement of Australian law, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.
